Movano To Relaunch Evie Ring with Upgrades and New Features In September

0

Movano is set to revive its Evie smart ring this September, following a brief hiatus due to customer complaints and stock shortages. The wearable, which first shipped to customers in January, was quickly pulled from the market due to early user feedback and hardware issues.

A Refreshed Model with Enhanced Features

The relaunched Evie Ring will feature a range of improvements based on customer feedback. Key enhancements include:

  • Improved sleep health and heart rate data accuracy: The ring will provide more precise insights into your sleep patterns and heart rate.
  • Automatic activity detection: The Evie Ring will automatically detect and track sports activities such as cycling, running, and walking.
  • AI-generated insights: The wearable will leverage AI to provide personalized insights into your overall health, linking your heart rate, sleep, energy level, mood, and menstrual cycle data.

Android App Compatibility and Hardware Improvements

In addition to these feature enhancements, Movano is working on an Android version of its companion app, which is expected to launch in Q4. This will expand the wearable’s accessibility to a wider range of users.

Furthermore, the company has addressed hardware issues that led to component failures and breakage. The relaunched Evie Ring will be more durable and reliable.

Pricing and Availability

The Movano Evie Ring is scheduled to be available for purchase on September 17th at a price of $269. This makes it a more affordable option compared to its competitor, the Oura Ring Gen3 Horizon, which is priced at $349 on Amazon.
