The health, sport and weather functionality relies heavy -if not entirely- on connection with the smartphone app (running, background possible) via BT. Health features (blood oxidation, blood pressure, heart rate, ECG) are useless. Same with the sports features: I tried walking and cycling, both “could not collect enough data” in 15+ minutes!? A barometer is non-existent: current weather condition seems to read its data from the internet through the smartphone app – no internet, no weather data. Music control obviously needs the smartphone connection. Sleep monitoring on the other hand seems to measure activity quite well. Pick your own dial? No change, design is limited to what the app can offer. After all, the greatest feature is the built-in LED light, good battery life and the low price.
