Recent rumors suggest that the Apple Watch Series 10 is set to receive a more substantial redesign than previously anticipated. Apple is reportedly giving the smartwatch a slimmer profile with more rounded corners, and may even introduce a ceramic version.

A Subtle Size Increase and a Bold New Look

Apple Watch Series 10 design

Speculation has been swirling for months about the successor to the Apple Watch Series 9 adopting a fresh design for the first time since the Series 7. Earlier rumors hinted at a larger, slightly thinner version of the current Apple Watch, available in either 45mm or 49mm sizes. However, the latest information from leaker @MajinBuOfficial indicates a more modest growth, with the smartwatch measuring 42mm and 46mm.

Despite the minimal size increase, the design is expected to change more dramatically than previously thought. The Apple Watch Series 10 is not only rumored to be thinner but also to feature significantly more rounded corners—a change said to ensure compatibility with existing bands while still looking great on the larger case. The display will continue to be slightly curved on all four sides. The speaker openings will be aligned with those of the Apple Watch Ultra, although the less expensive smartwatch is not expected to include an Action Button.

A Premium Titan Finish and a Potential Ceramic Comeback

The stainless steel Apple Watch is set to be replaced by a new titanium model, available in gold, black, “starlight,” and gray, making the Apple Watch Series 10 a perfect match for the iPhone 16 Pro. According to the leaker, Apple may offer a top-tier ceramic model, similar to the Apple Watch Series 5.

A Revamped Milanese Loop

Finally, the leaker claims that Apple will significantly overhaul the popular Milanese Loop band. The new band can be seen in the embedded images below.

Whether these rumors prove accurate will be revealed in just a few days, as the Apple Watch Series 10 is set to be officially unveiled on Monday, September 9th, alongside the iPhone 16.
