Garmin Fenix update

Garmin has released beta version 19.24 for a range of smartwatches, including the Fenix 7, Epix 2, Enduro 2, Quatix 7, and MARQ Gen 2. This minor update addresses a sleep-tracking issue affecting Pro models and includes other bug fixes and improvements.

Key Updates:

  • Sleep Tracking Bug Fix: Addresses an issue affecting Pro models where temperature wasn’t recorded during sleep.
  • Other Bug Fixes and Improvements: While specific details are limited, the update includes additional bug fixes and performance enhancements.
  • Software Updates: Includes updates for GPS (Version 12.00), Wireless (Version 28.19), and Sensor Hub (Version 32.22).

The update also includes software updates for GPS (Version 12.00), Wireless (Version 28.19), and Sensor Hub (Version 32.22). While specific details about the additional bug fixes and improvements are limited, this update builds upon the previous beta release, 19.21, which introduced improved map controls and bug fixes for Connect IQ watch faces and pool swim/multisport activities.

The beta update is available for the Fenix 7, Fenix 7 Pro, Epix 2, Epix 2 Pro, Enduro 2, Quatix 7, and MARQ Gen 2 models. However, users of the Tactix 7 and MARQ Aviator Gen 2 will not be able to receive this update.

To update your device, you’ll need to manually check for updates by going to Menu -> System -> Software Update -> Check For Updates. Please note that the ECG feature is temporarily disabled while using beta software.

If you’re interested in joining the beta program and trying out the latest features and improvements before they are released to the public, you can sign up via Garmin Connect.
