I just got the V69 yesterday and thus far, I gotta say that it’s pretty neat. This is the first “wearable” that I’ve had, minus the occasional ear bud, and it’s a lot less cumbersome than I initially expected. The call-in/out feature makes me kinda feel like Dick Tracy (which I REALLY dig!), and the changeable “face-plate” is cool as well…so long as you’re careful to keep the bedroom pics on your phone and not on your wrist.
The only gripe I have is more personal than anything, and that’s the damn step-counter can’t be turned off or “ignored”. For a super-active, CrossFit enthused, gym rat, this would be IDEAL! For myself, and others with a more common, less superhuman fitness regime, it can be a bit annoying. Overall, and especially for the price, it’s a good deal. $35 for a mini-cell phone, you easily get more than what you pay for. I give it a solid 4/5.
