Coros Update

Coros has released a comprehensive software update for its PACE 3, APEX 2, APEX 2 Pro, and VERTIX 2/2s models. This update introduces several new features designed to enhance your training and recovery experience.

Track Your Gear’s Lifespan

One of the standout features in this update is the ability to track the lifespan of your gear. Just like you monitor your car’s odometer, you can now keep tabs on the mileage accumulated by your bikes and shoes. This helps you determine when it’s time for maintenance or replacement. Set a maximum distance for your shoes and receive notifications when you exceed it.

Comprehensive Sleep Tracking

For shift workers and those who nap, 24/7 sleep tracking is now available. Your watch automatically monitors your sleep, ensuring that all time spent asleep, whether at night or during the day, is accurately recorded. You can also select the Timed Nap option for improved accuracy.

Deeper Sleep Insights

Beyond total sleep duration, the update provides detailed information about your sleep quality. Understand the time spent in different sleep stages and compare it to recommended amounts. This helps you identify patterns and routines that promote better sleep.

Improved Pool Swim Tracking: Drill and Interval Modes

Swimming in a pool can present challenges for accurate tracking, especially with various strokes and arm movements in a water-based environment. To address this, Coros has introduced Drill and Regular or Send-Off Time Interval modes for pool swims. These new features enable you to effortlessly structure your swim sessions and ensure that your activities are precisely recorded.

Coros DURA Updates

The Coros DURA also receives its first full feature update. Enjoy dedicated lap summary and real-time elevation profile data fields, back to start navigation options, and other enhancements for a more refined experience.

Additional Updates

  • Bike Modes: Track Gravel Bike and Mountain Bike (MTB) activities.
  • New Activity Data Fields: Customize your watch data pages with % FTP, % Max HR, % Heart Rate Reserve (HRR), and % Lactate Threshold HR.
  • Running Fitness Test Update: Receive threshold heart rate and threshold pace results more easily after completing the test.
  • Insta360 Data Overlay Support: Overlay GPS, elevation, route details, speed, and more on your Insta360 footage.

With these new features, Coros continues to provide comprehensive tools for athletes and fitness enthusiasts to optimize their training and recovery.
